Frequently Asked Questions

Everything most players ask, answered in one place.

Getting Started
Do I need an account to play?
Yes. Creating a free account takes a minute and gets you a free starter pack immediately. Head to the Play page to sign up.
Is Wyrmfall free to play?
Yes — you can play entirely for free by earning gems through daily quests, battles, and login rewards, then using them for the Trading Post. Buying packs with real money simply gets you there faster.
What age do I need to be to play?
You need to be at least [13/16 - confirm and update] years old to create an account. If you're under 18, purchases should be made with a parent or guardian's permission.
Packs & Cards
How do pack odds work?
Every card has a rarity tier — Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, or Legendary — each with a fixed probability of appearing in a pack. Full odds are listed on our How to Play page.
What is the pity timer?
If you go 20 cards without pulling an Epic or better, your next card is guaranteed to be Epic or Legendary. This resets the moment you pull one naturally. You can track your progress toward it on the Packs page.
How many cards are in the game?
83 cards currently, spanning all five rarity tiers, with more added over time in future content updates.
Can duplicate cards be useful?
Yes — list duplicates on the Trading Post to earn gems from other players, which you can spend on cards you're missing or on more packs.
Gems & Purchases
What are Gems?
Gems are Wyrmfall's in-game currency. You can earn them for free through quests, battles, and login rewards, or purchase them directly. Gems are used on the Trading Post and to stake in Arena battles.
Can I convert Gems back to real money?
No. Gems and all virtual items have no real-world monetary value and cannot be cashed out, consistent with our Terms & Conditions.
Can I get a refund on a purchase?
In most cases, no — digital content like packs and Gems is delivered instantly, which generally waives standard cancellation rights under UK law. Full details, including exceptions for technical faults or accidental purchases, are on our Refund Policy page.
Trading & Battling
How does the Trading Post work?
List any duplicate card for a Gem price you set. Other players can buy it directly. We take a small percentage fee on completed trades to keep the in-game economy balanced.
Who do I battle in the Arena?
You battle against another player's saved 5-card deck, matched at random. It's asynchronous — your opponent doesn't need to be online. Higher combined power usually wins, with some random variance.
What happens if I lose a battle?
You lose your gem stake, but you still earn Battle Pass XP for participating — a smaller amount than a win, but never nothing.
Account & Support
I forgot my password — what do I do?
Go to the Play page, click the Log In tab, then "Forgot password?" to reset it via email.
Can I delete my account?
Yes — contact us via the Contact page and we'll process your deletion request in line with our Privacy Policy.
I found a bug — how do I report it?
Please use the Contact page with as much detail as possible (what you were doing, what happened, any screenshots). Exploiting bugs for advantage instead of reporting them is against our Terms.
